SG here. We stopped for a drink before our show at the historic St. Paul Hotel in downtown. It's quite elegant. My paternal grandmother played her first gigs (engagements) there, which is why I wanted to drop by. Apparently, she was quickly picked up by a talent scout and began touring the country in an all-girl big band during WWII. She was an amazingly talented pianist and a generous donor of musical genes.
