View from D's throne

(that's drummer parlance for stool/seat)

In the sta-sta-studio

We're under the cans, tweaking, playing, sweating, bouncing, tempo-

Straight Shot Home

We rolled out of New Orleans at 10:30am on July 1st and headed west for 9 hours until we reached Austin. Total miles: 6,169. Thank you to everyone we met along the way, friends, family, and new folks. We had an amazingly successful & fun tour and it is 99% thanks to you.

Stay tuned as we will continue to update our blog with all-things-Tribella.

Sarah & Jake

Thank you guys so much for putting us up and putting up with us! We can't wait to make it back to New Orleans very soon...

When Good Folks & Stars Align

Provided that, despite our best efforts, we were unable to find a fill-in New Orleans band, we were faced with either (1) canceling our last show of the tour (NO WAY!) or (2) looking for a venue that might have an open slot for us to play. 2 hour window? No problem, we can do it. Without delving into the finer details, we were offered an hour slot at Checkpoint Charlie's Pub. Local musician, Ruby Rendrag, was playing that night and was kind enough to work this out for us. Thanks also to Angelo, the super nice bartender! We ended up having a great show and really appreciate everyone who came out to hear us. Couldn't have asked for a better finale to this amazing tour...

When Good Guys do Bad Things

We woke up, stretched, yawned, put some creamer in our coffee, checked the email, and ba-bam! The Good Guys (New Orleans band we were sharing bill with at HiHo) wrote us to say they were sorry but that they would have to cancel. We were feeling like nothing could stop us after the Oxford electricity debacle so, you know, no big, we were up to the task of finding a fill-in band for a show that would start in 10 hours.
